Russia sees fresh sanctions against Iran imposed by the UN Security Council on Wednesday as «a forced measure,» the Russian permanent envoy to the United Nations said.

«The sanctions of the UN Security Council are a forced measure, one to which we take in a balanced and proportional attitude,» Vitaly Churkin told the council meeting that approved the sanctions.
