U.S. assistant secretary of state to visit Tajikistan, Russia
U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Robert Blake begins on Tuesday his visit to the Tajik and Russian capitals, Dushanbe and Moscow, the U.S. Department of State said.
«In Tajikistan, Assistant Secretary Blake will conduct a six-month review of the annual bilateral consultations with the Government of Tajikistan, and meet with government officials and civil society representatives,» a statement from the department said.
«In Russia, Assistant Secretary Blake will meet with his counterparts in the Foreign Ministry and other government officials to discuss issues of common interest,» the statement said.
Blake will be on a visit to Dushanbe between August 31 and September 1, and will stay in Moscow on September
